Dobin Park was born in Seoul, South Korea, He began to play the violin at the age of four and play the piano at the age of twelve. Upon him graduation in 2005 from Seoul Arts High School studying with Soyeon Ahn and Mikyoung Kim in South Korea and Mr. Park enrolled at Seoul National University, completing requirements for his Bachelor of Music degree in 2010 and Master of Music degree in 2012 where he studied with Soojeong Shin and Kwihyun Kim. Mr. Park has had recitals as a soloist and also a collaborative pianist. He has participated in music festivals and competitions both nationally and internationally, including Vienna Music Festival, Spain Arona Music Festival, Korea Music Journal Competition (the first prize and grand prize), and Sejong Music Competition in Korea (grand prize). He was a Graduate Assistant of University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music from 2015 to 2016.
Currently, he is studying under Professor Awadagin Pratt at University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, now pursuing his Doctoral of Musical Arts degree since 2015 with full scholarship. Recently, he has been awarded the first prize at CCM Piano Concerto Competition and played Chopin First Piano Concerto with CCM Concert Orchestra at Corbett Auditorium.
