Hai Jin

    Pianist Hai Jin graduated from the China Conservatory of Music in 2009, where she studied with Bing Han. She has received numerous awards and prized in competitions, including the Liszt competition in 2013 Art of Piano festival in Cincinnati, and the Cincinnati Concerto Competition in 2014. She has performed recitals throughout China and has been engaged with several Chinese orchestras. She made her United States debut in 2010 upon the invitation of Boston University. As a collaborative pianist, Hai Jin was invited as faculty to festivals such as Great wall music academy in Beijing from 2014 and 2015, also Cleveland International Music Festival. As a chamber musician, she studied with Fiser Lee and Sandra Rivers, and has worked with renowned artist such as Rohan De Silva, Hiram Diaz, Erinn Frechette, Heather Verbeck Harrison, Gao Can, she is also the pianist of Sassmannshaus Piano Trio and has toured to critical acclaim in the United States and Asia. She earned an Artist Diploma in 2013 and a master degree in 2015 under Pianist Awadagin Pratt. Currently, she is completing her doctoral studies with James Tocco at the College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati.
